We have hosted a team roping in 2006 and 2007 benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project, which provides aid, counseling and therapy for our catastrophically wounded soldiers.
In October 2006 we raised $17,500 for this worthy organization, and this last event held September 29, 2007, we raised $22,500 for them. This is a testament to the generous citizens and businesses of Sonora, Ozona, Eldorado, San Angelo and the Midland/Odessa area. This great fundraiser would not have been successful without the help of our many family, friends, coworkers and local businesses. We owe them a great big thank you, and we are already making plans for our 2008 event! |

SPC Rocky Rochelle is our
military family member. His service to our country inspires us to continue our efforts to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project, as he could easily be in need of their services. He is stationed at Fort Hood, Texas and is currently in Fob Rustimayah, Iraq. He has been there since October 2006 and is due to return to the States in January 2008. |
