Our Quarter Horse Mare
|
1996 AQHA Chestnut Quarter Horse |
Copote’s Diamond (Valentine) – Val is a granddaughter of the legendary Dash For Cash, Racing World Champion and two-time winner of Champion of Champions. She passes on her remarkable, gentle, cooperative disposition to all her babies. On March 28, 2007, Val gave us a sorrel colt with a huge blazed face out of CD Colonel Cummins, a gray son of Vagabond Colonel (an own son of Colonel Freckles, leading sire of NCHA and AQHA performers). Cummins was 9th in the national AQHA standings in halter for 2005. This colt, Col. Cummins Dandy, is registered in the AQHA Incentive Fund and has already been sold to Rick Hunnicutt of Ozona, Texas. Val is now in foal for 2008 to an own son of Peptoboonsmal. Jim and Becky Sullivan of Eldorado, Texas have already purchased this baby, sight unseen. |

Ima Goin Fancy – Fancy is our Goer-bred Appaloosa show mare. Thanks to Lynn Parsons of Eldorado, Texas, Fancy has excelled in both Western and English events. She was High Point Appaloosa, High Point English Horse and Reserve High Point Western Horse for 2005 in the Arizona Appaloosa Association and placed 10th at the National Show in Oklahoma City in Open Saddle Seat Pleasure. She has retired, at least for now, from the show ring and has become a broodmare and riding horse. Fancy produced a chestnut colt with a huge white blanket, Ima Flashy Lad, out of Lone Star Lad (chestnut leopard Appaloosa) on March 6, 2007. Lad’s disciplines include dressage, endurance riding, English pleasure, halter, and hunter in hand, trail, as well as Western pleasure. This colt should make an exceptional performance horse. |

Dun Grey Pony |
Dulce – While Dulce is not registered; it doesn’t make her any less special. She is a POA belonging to my sister Faye Deel. Dulce has never met a person she didn’t like. She is the perfect grandkid horse and will patiently ride them around as long as they want. Dulce foundered badly three years ago, requiring a complete toe resection and a full year of intense care by her veterinarian and her family. She has made a full recovery, and we should all look so good at her age (approximately 21).
